Conditions for participation

The INTERNATIONAL HANDEL ACADEMY is aimed at young musicians at the beginning of their careers or those who have already gained initial professional experience in opera, concert, or festival contexts and who wish to specialize in historically informed performance practice.

The focus is on ensemble work, which is why the ACADEMY particularly welcomes musicians who are interested in gaining experience in Baroque ensemble playing. The Academy works with instruments set up according to historical standards.

Applications open on July 15, 2025, and must be submitted via the application form on this website.

Participation will be determined by the tutors based on recordings (video/audio links) to be submitted along with a CV and the completed application form.
